(hd) Between Saturday morning (13.09.2025) and Sunday afternoon (14.09.2025), previously unknown perpetrators took advantage of the occupants' absence to break into a house on Hellerweg in Herford. The perpetrators pried open a first floor window. They then entered the living rooms and ransacked them for valuables. No details of the stolen goods can be given at present. The damage to property is estimated at several hundred euros. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. Witnesses who have observed anything suspicious in the vicinity of the crime scene are asked to contact the police on 05221 / 888-0.
