(hd) On Saturday (13.09.2025) at around 10:00 a.m., an authorized hunter discovered a piece of roe deer in a field on Höferbrink in Vlotho that had apparently been shot without authorization. An unknown person had gutted the animal and released usable meat. He left the unusable remains of the animal lying open in the field. The authorized hunter filed a criminal complaint for hunting poaching. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. The period of the crime can only be roughly narrowed down. It probably lies between Monday (08.09.2025) and the time of the discovery. Witnesses who can provide information on this matter are asked to contact the police on 05221 / 888-0.
