In the middle of 2020, Erste Polizeihauptkommissar Tino Schäfer took over the management of the press office and can now look back on over 20 years of service with the police. Press and public relations work has not remained hidden from him and he has already worked for several years as press spokesman for the Hagen police headquarters.

His team includes Polizeihauptkommissar Sebastian Hirschberg, who has been a member of the press office since 2017 and has many years of police service experience. In addition to his role as deputy head, the Hagen police department's presence on social media is one of his main tasks.

Ramona Arnhold joined the press office in the summer of 2019. Thanks to her journalistic training and previous experience, the government employee has an "outside perspective" and regularly sets new accents for the work of the press office.

The most recent addition to the team is Polizeioberkommissar Tim Sendler. Before becoming press spokesman, he had already worked in patrol duty and in the task force.
